Mini Golf In The Library

Come putter around the library with us for a tee-rrific time! Mini-Golf in the Library is a fun-filled two-day fundraiser the weekend of August 16 and 17, 2024, at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library. Serious golfers and casual players alike will have a ball while raising funds for VBPL’s annual Summer Reading Challenge!

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to read for fun during summer and provides opportunities for them to earn incentives along the way. This program is crucial to keeping children and teens engaged in reading and learning over the summer break. It provides all Virginia Beach families access to fun enrichment events and activities, as well as creates volunteer opportunities for teens.

On Friday, Aug. 16, the FAIRWAY FROLIC is an after-hours mini-golf event from 6-9 PM that the whole family will love! Enjoy delicious food, a round of mini-golf, and facepainting and crafts for the kids. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door, or $125 for a foursome. Score your tickets below!

On Saturday, Aug. 17, LIBRARY LINKS is a community play day during normal library hours! For $2 per person or $10 for a group of six, library-goers can putt their way through the Central Library while enjoying family friendly activities and everything the library has to offer. Tickets available at the door.
